My work explores the relationship between portraiture, flowers, and memory. Through floral interventions that obscure, transform, and reimagine the face, I create images that speak to identity, emotion, and personal history. Inspired by nature, seasonal blooms, and the atmosphere of Austin and Texas, my work moves between photography and mixed media to create portraits that feel both intimate and dreamlike. I am interested in the tension between presence and disappearance—how a person can be revealed and concealed at the same time. Each piece invites viewers to reflect on beauty, change, and the way memory continues to bloom.
