I paint in watercolor and acrylic and make collages from objects that I collect on my walks in nature.

I learn something new every time I work on a project and I love how differently I see the physical world since starting on this creative journey. My observation of color, light, texture, facial expressions and the natural world has become more heightened-especially when I’m thinking about my next painting or mixed media piece.  Watercolors, in particular, challenge me but there is nothing more satisfying than completing a painting and gifting it to the person who inspired it.  

Having been a host home for Travis Heights Art Trail in 2025, I’m excited to participate in this year’s event as a newbie artist.
