Sam Anderson

Inspired by her grandfather’s woodworking and trained as an architect and 3D artist, Sam Anderson collaborates with her father, Jack, under the name Hardwood Groves to create handcrafted wood pieces that bring thoughtful design into homes.

The wood comes directly from Sam’s family farm in middle Tennessee, held by the Anderson family since 1850. Walnut, oak, and cedar logs are milled on-site by the family and transformed by Sam and Jack into functional, artful pieces that honor both material and craft.

Drawing on her background in architecture and 3D design, Sam designs each piece with an eye for practicality and beauty, creating pieces that are both useful and timeless.
