I started my ceramics journey in 2024 during a difficult season in my life and found clay to be deeply therapeutic and meditative. It helped usher me back to a place of joy. The theme of my work is ritual. I love making practical pieces that become part of daily rituals in the home: Large serving bowls for gathering around the family table; chimeneas for lighting incense before meditation; the perfect mug for your favorite morning beverage. I throw with stoneware and make my own glazes. I completed an artist residency locally in 2025, and now have a home studio where I make and fire all my own work.
