I’m Kendra, a Texas-based artist whose work reflects my experiences growing up in Texas and living in Austin. Inspired by the Texas Hill Country, cacti, and florals, I create modern impressionist paintings full of color, texture, and energy using acrylic paint and palette knives. I’m especially drawn to juxtaposition, blending old with new, rustic with modern, and abstraction with recognizable natural forms.
