I am a multimedia artist with an MFA in printmaking. My teaching career in Massachusetts of over thirty years ended in 2020 when I began a more mobile lifestyle, eventually settling in Austin. I have worked extensively in printmaking, painting, digital photography, paper making, natural ink, and more recently, cyanotype, and black and white analog photography. I do all of my own film development and printing both at East Side Silver Print and in the small darkroom and studio I set up in my home. My work in all media is mostly (but not exclusively) landscape and my styles vary from medium to medium and project to project. Part of my motivation for making art is to share the fragile beauty I find in nature and the emotions it summons.
