Christ Lutheran Church - 300 Monroe

We will again host several non-profit art-related organizations in our fellowship hall.

The mission of Art From the Streets is to provide a safe and encouraging environment in which the positive spirit and creativity of people experiencing homelessness and at-risk people are nurtured through their own artistic expression. These artistic endeavors form a pathway to self- determination by means of the sense of achievement, social connections, and income generated through the pursuit of their art.

Adventurers Academy of Lifelong Learning

Our artwork is crafted by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who we call Adventurers. The mission of the Adventurers Academy is to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Austin, Texas area connect with the community, develop greater lifelong independence, and achieve their full potential, through a variety of social, educational, recreational and vocational experiences.

Our Adventurers can choose classes to learn the craft of woodworking, mosaics, card and gift tag making, handmade Christmas gifts, ornament making, fleece knotted blankets, and more!
