Teri & Mike Hubbeling
We have made plates and platters together for over 30 years. We find our inspiration in nature and have always enjoyed working with animal imagery and patterns. Lately we work more and more with bugs, fish, and animals that allow us to play more with vibrant colors and more loosely defined patterns. Except for the days that we like to play with tightly controlled monochromatic patterns. You never know what’s going to work in the studio.

Gaye-I love functional pottery because it literally puts art right into our hands.
Michael-I see functional pottery as an opportunity to create art that is interactive in a basic daily way.
